Venturing Adult Leader Training at FFR

Thanks to the help of the Gravois Trail Venturing Training team, we will have Venturing Adult Specific and Basic training available at the Fall Fun Rally.

The training will be $15 and will include the Venturing Adult leader manual. Training will begin Saturday morning with Adult leader Basic training for those that need it.

Check the event schedule at the Fall Fun Rally for the exact time and location, but plan for a session that will start first thing in the morning and go through lunch. Please bring a bag lunch and plan to be at the training through lunch.

This year at the Fall Fun Rally, there are a few events and competitions you may want to prep for ahead of time. We’ve prepared a flyer with some of the events for you here .

Registration Information Available

The Registration form for the Fall Fun Rally is now available. Get your registration in, the on time registration deadline is September 5th. The form is available here .

Registration is $12 a person, youth or adult, which includes the cost of nearly all of the events, and an event T-Shirt. Over 50 events are planned by the Greater St. Louis Area Council’s Venturing Officers’ Association. We’ll have items running Friday night and all day and into the evening on Saturday.

Crews, Posts, and older Boy Scout Patrols (meeting Venturing age requirements of age 14 or older and graduated the eighth grade) are welcome to attend. If you are another youth group interested in attending, please contact Ben Brennecke at the number on the registration form.

As part of the event, we are asking each crew to bring a small, un-iced sheet cake. We’re going to assemble them and make a giant birthday cake for Venturing. We’re also going to celebrate our history of over 35 years of the Fall Fun Rally, one of the oldest annual Venturing or Exploring events in the country.

Late registrations will be accepted until the event itself, but the registration will go up to $15 and will no longer include a T-Shirt.
